Christmas Dinner at the Marton Arms near Ingleton.

5th December, 2009

The Ingleton Home Guard, MVT Members and friends had there Christmas Run out. The Dinner was at the Marton Arms Hotel, Ingleton, which is just near the campsite we will be using next year. So it is very handy for food and drink. The Day saw good weather for a photo shoot, Done by Dickon Siddle our resident photographer, and plenty of re-enactors turned up to go on the road run. My Austin K3 ran well, due to Jonny Newbould our Safety Officer from the MVT, who has just completed a total engine rebuild for me. A Big thank you to him. Thanks to Martin, Phil, Reo, who came along for the day ,And moved the troops around.

May I add, thanks to John and Elaine for organising the run out and lunch.

Jeeps from Martin and Phil, Dave's REO, and John's Austin K3.

John's Austin K3, back in business after extensive engine rebuild by Johnny Newbould. Running very smooth indeed.

Inside the bub, was lovely and warm after an uncomfortable ride in some trucks, it was good to sit on a padded chair...

John and Roger debate the finer points of the menu....

Mr. Dickon Siddle, or local photographer, grouped us up for some proper photographs, so we had to steal some opportunities with our our cameras. I will see if we can obtain some of his pictures for on here.
