A very important day for the Ingleton Homeguard flag.

It is now an official Standard.

John Edwards's Union Standard was dedicated by the Vicar at the Church of St Peter, Bolton Parish church, on Sunday 1st November 2009.  This was a week before Remembrance Sunday. We lay the combined Bolton Artillery and Royal Artillery Association wreath in the parish church a week before Remembrance Sunday, because we are all on parade on the actual Sunday.  I was lucky and managed to get the Standard dedicated at the same service. Being a standard, it can now officially lead a parade.
