Lower Bentham - St. John's Church Gala Day.

Sunday 14th June. 2009

The Ingleton Home Guard was asked if they would go along to the Children's Fun Day at Low Bentham. A local village to Ingleton. So we thought it would be a good idea also to promote our event "Operation Home Guard" at Ingleton. The fun day was raising money for the Church which was next to the event field. The weather was very good, and family's with lots of children came along and had great fun climbing over the Military vehicles, to the anguish of the MVT members who bravely came along and supported The Home Guard. We would like to thank the MVT Members who came for the day. The feed back from the organisers said they were very pleased with the Army vehicle display's , as it made the day for the children, and the ex-servicemen who we were talking too. A very enjoyable day.
